To start the goodreads 2018 Reading Challenge, I have to decide whether to read a new book or re-read a well-loved old book that I haven’t read in a while. Thanks to the magic of my Amazon Kindle, I have hundreds of books at my fingertips, both new and old, and I’ve got them sorted into collections by what year I read them in (because I’m kind of a nerd like that). Long story short, I should be able to find a book pretty quickly.
I started browsing Amazon to see if there was anything new in Kindle Unlimited that struck my fancy, and I saw this book:
Dear Mother by Angela Marsons
Hmm…”A gripping and emotional story that will make you sob your heart out”
Yeah, promises.
However, it’s free, and has good reviews, so why not? Dear Mother is officially my first book of 2018. And a little sobbing never hurt anyone, right? I’ll let you know how it turns out.
